Arsenal goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale has spoken out about facing the likes. Of Jordan Pickford and Nick Pope in the race to become the No 1. England’s squad for the 2022 World Cup kicks off in the next few days.

The 24-year-old goalkeeper moved to Emirates Stadium in the summer of 2021. And has become one of the key players in helping the club climb to the top of the table this season. Which can keep a total of 8 clean sheets out of 16 matches in all competitions

Ramsdale has been selected as one of three goalkeepers for England at the end of the month in Qatar, with the other two. Being Jordan Pickford from Evertu. Tan and Nick Pope from Newcastle, who referred to the competition to be the number one in Gareth Southgate’s team.

“He (Pickford) has done great for England before and has in good form for Everton and Nick (at Newcastle) for Pop. Pee (nicknamed Nick Pope) is continuing to keep clean sheets. We have a good relationship with the goalkeepers. You want all three to work hard to become the best.”

“So at the moment we are all training like the No.1 goalkeepers. Which for the remaining 2 people. It is difficult for the situation to turn around. But whoever plays in the first game will have the full support of the rest,” said Ramsdale.
